It is national project co-financed by Istanbul Development Agency. Primary aim of Steel Testing and Research Center Project is to ensure that Istanbul becomes a center of accreditation and certification of conformity assessment for testing / analysis and domestic / foreign sales needed in the steel industry.
The duration of the project is from March 2nd, 2015 to March 1st, 2017.
Outcomes:
- Establishment of Steel Testing and Research Center
- Accreditation and certification services for steel industry
- Vocational training for staff of steel industry
- Network between academy and industry
